The Pirate Bay's Facebook Account Is Shut Down

It has been over a week since The Pirate Bay was raided by the Swedish police following which the site has been offline ever since, and now a few hours ago, The Pirate Bay's official Facebook page has been shut down.

As of now, it is uncertain whether the page was taken down by The Pirate Bay or Facebook.



Although their last status update goes back to December 2013, the page had over 470000 likes and remained active with fans posting on the page.

Their Twitter account on the other hand, which too hasn't been updated since December last year remains intact.

Watch Cortana Running On Windows 10

Cortana, which was until now only available for Windows Phone will now be available on desktop as well as part of Windows 10 although .

WinBeta says, 

"From the get go, Cortana can do pretty much everything the Windows Phone version can. This includes reminders, call people with skype, check my location/maps, play/pause music, launch apps, check the weather and more. Right now, Cortana doesn't have a personality in Windows 10, meaning she doesn't answer questions like "Who are you", however we have it on good authority that she will have this ability by the time she rolls out to the public."

Well, Windows 10 isn’t expected to launch for quite a while so for now all you can do is watch the video above to see Cortana in action.

Facebook Released It's First Ad For Messenger

Guy's Python Code Seems To Show Flipkart's Big Billion Day A Con

Talk of the town, Flipkart's Big Billion Day hosted on 6th Oct '14, which was expected to be a huge success, has instead brought Flipkart into quite some trouble.

The e-commerce company is now under scrutiny as people claim to have been cheated.

Recently, a fellow programmer Nikhil Venkat Sonti, posted on Quora about his experience regarding the same.

Apparently, he had written a Python script which you can find on github that parsed Flipkart’s page every 5 seconds to check whether any new product had arrived in Steal Deal section.

Using the 'say' command, he had programmed his script to say Ring Ring Ring to notify him about it. Also, the code mailed him about the products along-with some details. Surprisingly, the most tempting deals, the ones with unbelievable discounts were already in the Sold Out state.

This means that either the product got sold out within the span of five seconds or that it was posted so in the first place.
